"My friend and I had just left the train station and were walking towards the main square in Shauffhausen. We noticed an Italian restaurant that seemed quite busy usually a good sign. We decided to look at the menu, and once we saw that the restaurant made its own pasta fresh, and had a wood fired oven, we decided to stay for lunch. We ordered a Quattro stagioni pizza and a plate of homemade ricotta ravioli with sage, butter and fresh grated Parmesan. We had a wonderful server who brought our wines and was very attentive. With a huge wood fired oven in the middle o the restaurant and super outdoor seating in the main square, this place has a great ambience. The pizzas were really good, the staff was also very attentive and efficient.

Beautiful lunch under one umbrella in one of the main places in the city. Our server Alexandra was wonderful. She made sure that we had a nice cold bottle of Italian white wine to start our lunch. We ordered two paprika seeds that came with small cut tomatoes, soft, fresh buffala mozzarella and two leaves basil. Olive oil and balm, salt and pepper are on the tables. Fresh bread slices accompanied the salads. We ordered two pastas for lunch the ravioli with butter sage sauce, and spaghetti Carbonara. Both were good sizes and came to the table, on hot plates.
