We just spent 2 weeks in NY and went 3 times to 12 chairs,fantastic food in a lovely area. Our favourite restaurant in the city, very nice staff.

So loud. I thought we had left that Bagatelle ambiance in pre covid times. It was a 12:30pm reservation on a Saturday. Maybe the vibe is more chill on weekdays? EDIT: on weekdays, the service is comically rude. Like will drop your check while turning your back to you and not saying a word. I'm done with this location. The Brooklyn one is much better.

Babaganoush very good but they give you way too little bread. Grilled chicken huge portion. chicken was pretty good and cooked well. Potato wedges were ok but kinda soggy. Everything was pretty bland. Had to ask for salt and pepper for the potato wedges. My friend got Sammy's Lamb Kebab. It was good but very small. We got Malabi for dessert.
