"I have always struggled to find truly spicy wings that make me break a sweat, but also have flavor. Some places have sauces that are overly hot with no taste. Let me tell you about Anchor Bar's Suicide Wings: They are just spicy enough to grab your attention, delicious with fruity and garlic notes, saucy enough to be messy in a good way, and the perfect combination of crispy and meaty. In short: the best ever! When you add in the excellent service, great bar, and fantastic Friday night karaoke that appeals to all types of people, from families to party animals, it's hard to find a better Friday night out."

Awesome service. A special shoutout to Jody, who managed our party of 20 and kept ALL of our individual bills straight, even as we moved around the table to visit with one another. Great place!

The wings with the beef on the wreck were fantastic. The drink prices are reasonable and there is a good variety. The live jazz on Tuesdays is excellent. I highly recommend checking out the jazz on Tuesdays at this restaurant.

My wife and I decided to try out the Anchor Bar for her birthday lunch after hearing their radio ad multiple times. We had a great experience at the Amherst location. Our server, Deborah, was fantastic and the food was delicious. From the Italian wedding soup and chicken Caesar wrap to the turkey club and fries with gravy, everything was excellent. Deborah even surprised us with a piece of peanut butter pie for my wife's birthday dessert. Overall, the food and staff were top-notch. We will definitely be returning in the future.

"Our server was exceptional! Despite the bustling environment, he provided attentive service, frequently checking in with us, refilling our water glasses, and artfully arranging the plates so that each dish was beautifully presented. The water, infused with lime, was a delightful surprise—extremely refreshing and served as a lovely palate cleanser. We started our meal with the honey garlic bread accompanied by herb ricotta. The bread offered a wonderful balance of flavors, and the ricotta added a creamy touch that complemented it perfectly. Next, we tried the Pad Thai Tacos. While I wasn't a fan of the spice level, I appreciated the creative combination of hard and soft shells, along with the tasty peanut sauce. Then we moved onto the "ball," which is a great example of how the restaurant encourages sharing. Each dish was served with a large knife and serving spoon, making it easy for us to split everything. The flavor was remarkable, especially the sweet sauce paired with the grilled bread. For our main course, we ordered the Chicken Cutlets, which were again served with a knife and tongs for easy sharing. Although I wasn’t fond of the wine sauce, the chicken was perfectly cooked. The meal truly stood out with the two desserts we chose: the butter cake and the orange chocolate crème brûlée. Both desserts struck the ideal balance of sweetness! I highly recommend this restaurant!"
