"Well let me just say I thought the place was really nicely decorated. And the I ordered.tamales plate.and let me say yes a a older white woman But my name is Garcia and just by the looks of ur plate the beans might have been the only thing that was from Mexico and that might have been can.the rice was not Spanish rice now for the tamales we was notified of the spice.i was very disappointed in ur presentation of ur tamale plate.like u noticed I am white but I know what is real Spanish food looks and most of all taste.u should never serve a person without notifying them of the authentic or the heat.and the star I had to choose B4 my comment was just for the decor. Thank u for insulting my race."

"This is our first time to eat at Grandpa's Grill in Gallup Nm. When entering the menu order seat itself. We ordered the Special of day with sign. 4 Barbecue pork, corn on the cob,Bake Potato, Ranch style beans roasted bread and iced tea. The ranch style beans looked homemade. It's a hearty meal when your hungry. Why I gave him four stars, the pig is fat."

"So wow my eating sucked I wanted to cook well, I was barely cooked and cold not eating my meal, told the server it was terrible, no answer. not even the cassian asked about my meal. really terrible waste of $33 plus tipp. later, my man was violently ill and vomited. he only ate there that I did not eat the same meal for several days before, so I wonder. I'm grateful I didn't eat mine! I'm so unhappy about this one."

"Coming from a local.. eat somewhere else. The brisket was dry, like eating wood bark. And the Portion sizes is too small compared to the price they charge.I did give this place a chance, but now I will not be eating here ever. Your better off at the Dennys down the street.AND if you are a tourist staying at any near by hotels. I would suggest THE RAILWAY CAFE. hardly any 1 star reviews."

"Through the city and stayed in a hotel. At 17.00 an early dinner. The Monday special was Country Fried Steak, so I ordered it. The meal came with green (or pinto) beans, split peas soup (or salad), potatoes (our choice) and a role to go with the HUGE flattened, baked and fried steak. The soup was served first and it was absolutely amazing. I had never eaten split pea soup so I was worried about how it would be. Oh, my God! Get something when it's available. The green beans were specially prepared, not only poured out a can and heated and were very good. I got potatoes with (white) Gravy and they were good. The steak was definitely something I would recommend as it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This was an ingenious culinary experience as I was solo and sat at the counter! Very recommended to stop here for a meal."
