"I cost the food. The lady who was there was really great. Love her personality. There was a waiting period that didn't matter to us. Eating is cooked-to-order she was the only one there. We read the reviews and thought it would have been terrible for a long time. My only recommendation for her would be to create a kind of diving sauce for the appetizers. When I ate her, I wanted something delicious, something spicy/smoky, a little sweet. felt that it would bring the natural aromas of food. Will definitely go back to try other things. Oh, I had the eggplant pack. Proposal to the customer: Request for additional sauce. Not sure what it means, but only extra...extra-extra. My sister also took an eggplant pack."

"Great place. The good smell hits you when you walk in. I ordered the ribs and they were MEATY!! No thin, suck on the bone and hope for meat, mostly tendon ribs at all. Nope pure soft, moist, smokey meat!! The cornbread was good. My hubby got brisket and mac n scratch that, cheese mac, and we shared the elote. They use soybean oil so not much I could try here, but what I had here hit home!! It looks closed from the front (ridge Rd), but park in the back and the entrance is facing the outdoor square."

"Been hearing about this place for years from people that I work with. Got stuck at O'hare for a lot longer than I wanted and decided to try this place out on my way home. They definitely have a good deep dish and what look like to be some amazing cookies on the front counter, but with lou's around I'd have to give this solid second place. 4.5 stars"

"I took my sister for lunch today and she decided that she wanted to try Schoops, we came and sat at the counter to order our meal, the staff was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately we got a call from my sister doctor that had changed her schedule so that we had to leave very quickly. The staff was very courteous and made our order so that we did not get the opportunity to experience the restaurant, but the food was excellent. My sister ordered a burger and some onion rings with a vanillashake. I ordered a bowl with creamy chicken soup and a Green River with a bunless junior burger. The burgers as always were phenomenal and the soup was really good! would not have asked for a better lunch! Thank you."
