"I have always loved this restaurant. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork are awesome. We had family over for lunch today and we got a pound of pulled chicken as one of our family members does eat pork or beef. Unfortunately I didn 't check it before I got home. My wife opened up the container and it was full of white water and what looked like boiled chicken. Apparently it was a thawed out container of pulled chicken . Absolutely disgusting, covered in a white slime resembling mayo. My daughter did not eat anything and went home early. Wife told me to get Montgomery Inn pulled chicken but I told her they have great stuff. Very disappointed. The pulled pork was fine."

Inside dining was dirty Ordered food to go and the pulled chicken was delivered in a paper tray. Chicken was tasteless, ribs were greasy and the sides were uninspired.

City BBQ is one of our favorite places for BBQ and Cincinnati definitely has its share of BBQ joints. The downside is they are pricing themselves out of the market. I had a Pulled Chicken Sandwich which was delicious and around $8. But they no longer offer meals, you have to add a combo to it one side and a drink was over $5, and two sides was another $7. For a family of 3 it cost us $60 to eat there. Their sides are wonderful. Corn Pudding is the best.
