"Food was super American so if you 're looking for basic white cheese and grilled chicken with rice, this is the place for you. You may wait a while so don 't be in a hurry bc service was slow. Friendly but slow. I 'm sure if you ordered something more authentic there would be more flavor but this place is pretty bland."

"friend and I went Valentine's Day to dinner at 20:00 with reservations. gastgeber seemed a bit confused about reservation. they had cleaned a table in the main restaurant for us. but when our menus were placed on the table, another host took up menus and said to follow him. he brought us to a bar high table in the bar area. kellnerin was very friendly and linguistic. we ordered drinks, then a starter and meal. it took more than 30 minutes to get our appetizers in a peanut sauce. great size and good taste. After we had finished the appetizers, I was addressed by waitress and informed that they were from the middle rare nativity and remained only medium. I've agreed on medium. then it was 30 minutes or so to get our meal. Although more than I would have liked to have eaten, the main rib was very good. gf had a ribeye steak with baked potato wedges. her steak was boiled properly, but was not even warm enough to melt the butter that was served above. kartoffel wedges were good, but you were not cooked enough. They were naturally aware that we were waiting because we got a free dessert from a chic cookie and ice. the restaurant did not seem in full capacity. it would have been nice to generally sit in the opposite to the bar. the foods were mostly good but not calculated up to the standards of the price."

"we had heard mixed reviews of the Kenndy, including that it is particularly expensive. we don't find that true. it is elevated, and they pay for the quality of food and the environment, but it is certainly competitive with any fine restaurant in the upstate. other reviews have complained about small portion sizes, but we found them of medium size, with quality and we have been satisfied. there is a fresh view of the environment (we ate meal times in the building when it was another restaurant) with a feeling of kunstdeco. the dining areas could sound lively, but we had no difficulty entertaining ourselves at the table."

"My husband and I recently visited for our Anniversary. The first 15 minutes was magical, however the experience went down hill quickly (sadly). Quick Summary: Our appetizer was so fresh and yummy. Our Steaks weren't the greatest at all. One was pretty much burnt all around the edges. Still on the juicy side but still the flavor was nearly ruined.‍ We got many sides, not knowing they were large portions. The Brussels were great. The fries pretty good. The mashed potatoes awful and no flavor. I can't remember the wine I had with my meal, because they were out of my original pick. It was very nice and balanced with the meal. With all of the food aside, my service was truly hit or miss. Our waitress assistant was amazing and helpful, however we hardly saw them. The waitress herself was so short and avoided answering questions, or just didn't know much. She also pushed us along. She wanted to bring the check and didn't ask about dessert when we were eating our meal. When I said we wanted dessert she seemed nearly annoyed. Mumbled a few options. I asked for a drink to go with dessert and was ignored/over talked. My husband stood up and walked over to reiterate/correct it. The chocolate torte was rich and sweet. Paired well with the sparkling wine. The dessert was a much smaller portion compared to the sides. Overall I was let down for such a special night. "Leaving this review in the same night of ordering take-out because: 1. The food was wonderful (and it has been for years), and 2. The service. My husband ordered a pie, I ordered the chicken piccata, and we enjoyed every single bite. While we waited to pick up our order, we noticed how calm and professional the hostess behind the bar was despite a ton of take-out’s, a packed restaurant, and consistent walk-ins. The manager was trying to get guests seated as quickly as possible while also making sure the servers and kitchen were running. As we patiently waited on our food we overheard a rude conversation between a customer and the manager, who was being polite and to the point. 6 out of 5 stars for Fratello’s fantastic food and service whilst being short-staffed. Be NICE to your servers and TIP them well!"
