"started great as you walk in. Beautiful room. Great service. But let’s get to the food… 1) lobster bisque was more tomato bisque 2) mixed salads were not washed. grainy/dirty/gritty salad 3) porterhouse for two, was as bland as I have ever had any piece of meat. Not one piece of seasoning or salt on it. just tasteless…not even meat flavor 4) mashed potatoes were incredibly bad and tasteless we had to skip the desert for fear that it would be bad as well Saving grace was a great bottle of wine. I didn’t go there for the wine. I went there with my family for Christmas Eve dinner in New York. After living in the city for many years we were so looking forward to returning.
