"The service at this restaurant is top-notch and the food is delicious and served quickly. The host is extremely friendly and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The lasagna was excellent. I am grateful for them finding my glasses that I left on the table and bringing them to me before I left for the ferry. My experience in Lofoten would have been much more challenging without them!"

"Visit this restaurant for local cuisine. I traveled to Bodø for a conference and this restaurant was on the list for recommendations. The place is very spacious, it has a sit-down side and a casual bar side. Note that the menus are different. The restaurant side where we sat has many local cuisine options like whale. I had a steak that came along with a delicious purée and veggies. My friends ordered the whale dish and they all loved it. I even tried it and the meat was quite tasty and soft (tasted similar to beef). Our server was knowledgeable and explained the menu to us in English. I would come here again if I return to Bodø."

"that will be a stubborn and despised critique, and I hope the boss will read that. when he takes care of his restaurant, he will read it and make action. the problem is the waiter. the short, brown hair and blue eyes (I think? when we first came in, we stood and thought where we should sit. we wanted to sit in the back and the menus were thrown on the first table and said to sit. we were shocked, but okay. When he came to our job, he was rude and had no service like: hello, smile, thank you? nothing! we have our food. it was good. while we eat, a gurke came with children, and the same happened to them. they wanted to choose the table, but he forced them to sit where he wants(obvily near the kitchen, so it is easier for him). the family opened their eyes after aggression with him in shock. After eating we sit on the table an hour because we wait for our boat. he came to us and said we should leave the table and we can sit on the bar if we just want to sit? we ordered to eat and drink and can sit in the restaurant! we would understand if the place was full, but he was half empty. we decided to go easy and go somewhere else! I give him two stars because it was good to eat. the truffle burger needs more truffle flavor and the vanilla milk shimmers a little more vanilla extract. the pommes were amazing. the toilet was exceptionally clean. I hope the boss will make some changes because the waiter never returns here again!"

"Cosy restaurant with a variety of food and drinks. I was put off a little by the bad reviews, but I was very pleased with the food here. They didn’t have my first choice of meal or wine, but what I did have was absolutely delicious some of the best food I’ve had in Bodø. The tagliatelle with chicken is so, so good. For dessert I chose the chocolate raspberry mousse ice cream with pistachios. It was heavenly. The staff are also all nice and seem happy to be working there."

"Great even by international standards. Homemade beer was surprisingly hood, the burger also (smoked meat and fresh vegetables). The cheese was the best blue cheese I ever tasted (it won the award of cheese in the world) and chocolate mousse was less special but still good. Bar looks great and waitress was nice, overall a very good dining experience. Prices are good by Norwegian standards, but I wouldn't mind paying these prices outside of Norway for this quality."
