"We had dinner here for a birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed the experience at Gigino’s. This was my second time dining here. The restaurant is in a great location with scenic views of Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, Jersey City and the Hudson River. Very picturesque location on a nice Spring or Summer evening. We enjoyed the ambiance and service. The caveat is that restaurant is a bit outdated and only has one restroom. However, the food in my opinion was delicious and tasty. I have NO idea why the past negative reviews. This place was awesome from service to food. We came during a weekday and everything went well. The portions well very reasonable. If hungry you will surely be satisfied, if not too hungry you might take a box for later. The taste was absolutely great. The prices were just right.

Wagner Park offers a great environment to go around and see. I loved her being a restaurant at the end of the park to look at the lawn. From your table you can see women's freedom and Ellis Island. This restaurant offers quality services and food. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion as it offers a great lunch menu, dinner menu, specialties and cocktails. I find the restaurant a pleasant experience.

Where else can you get the best view of Lady Liberty while sipping on a frozen rosé? Only here! The pesto gnocchi was great, too. I will say that the place does seem run down, and hasn’t been updated in years (a shame). Since the primary reason to visit is for the views, try your best to get a table on the outskirts of the outdoor area (a table under the tented area felt stuffy), and avoid sitting inside, as the interior is mediocre.
