"We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for the past five years, visiting 3-4 times a year, and always had a great experience. However, on our most recent visit, we were disappointed to find that the menu had changed with the new culinary team, resulting in the loss of some of our favorite dishes. Additionally, the prices had nearly doubled since our last visit two months ago. Although the service was still excellent, we felt that the food quality did not justify the higher prices. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, far superior to the usual college town setting. The food was delicious and elegantly plated.

We have dined here often and always had favorites. The new menu is a disaster. Crab cakes were terrible. Oysters were poorly breaded and on chewy boiled spinach and expensive for the paltry portion. The strawberry scone dessert was lots of dry scone and a little bit of ice cream. I doubt we’ll be back to dine for a long while. We always had a good meal on previous visits and love the ambiance. Too bad the new menu is such a disaster.
