"this is our favourite restaurant in the Hallein/Oberalm area. eating is Italian styled. great, fresh, large portions and the service is friendly. I love the piccante milanese (egg coverered veal served on spaghetti and tomato sauce,) the pizza and the mussels in tomato sauce...(Mussel in tomtato sauce). always a small bowl of crushed chili and one of garlic are brought into the table, so if they want to add something to their palate. icespalach ham (pancakes with ice cream and chocolate sauce is a favorite dessert). during the weekday (except on Tuesday, when closed), they also offer a lunch menu for a very reasonable price, as well as the normal a la carte. also takeaway is possible. highly recommended!"

"A much anticipated dining experience at a supposedly top-rated Spanish restaurant was marred more or less from the outset by the cavalier and all too chummy attitude of the waiter assigned to our table of four, who definitely seemed in high spirits. While the food...itself was acceptable (but by no means outstanding or exceptional), the demeanour of the waiter was not. A degree of bonhomie at a Spanish restaurant or tapas bar is always welcome, not to say expected, but overfamiliarity is not, and outright rudeness is always unacceptable, whether or not the setting is Iberian. The disappointment at the lack of professionalism on the part of our waiting staff finally tipped over into irritation when a full glass of wine was knocked over as one of the courses was being cleared. No particular apology was offered, let alone any compensation for soaked clothing: the glass was simply righted and obsequiously refilled from the bottle. In the minds of the waiting staff, the matter was closed. Better Spanish food in general and paellas in particular have certainly been consumed elsewhere, and a restaurant that boasts a number of entries in various food guides such as GaultMillau might want to reconsider the design of its menu; large-font laminated pages behind plastic sleeves are more in keeping with food stalls on the streets of any South-Eastern Asian city. We shall not be returning, at least not under the current ownership and management, which is a shame as the setting is pleasant, and much could be made of these premises"

"...and we had been delayed by roadworks on the German Autobahn. This meant that we missed the hotel's closing hours (luckily they left the key for us) but the kids were hungry, tired and thirsty. We approached the adjoining restaurant Restaurant Manuel, and I could see that we had just missed their closing hours too, however they were all too pleased to swrve us anyway. Such kindness was extremely welcome by myself and my family. We bought cold drinks and they even made some nuggets and french fries for the children. We intend to stop again on our way back to Germany, and this time we'll try some of their Indian delicacies! I can't wait! Extremely kind and helpful people."

Noteworthy details: Kaum ein Hotel in Österreich ist so sehr auf Energie Wende und E Mobilität ausgelegt, wie der Kaiserhof mit Biologischer Speisenvielfalt und erholsamen Gastgarten. Die Zimmer sind top und sehr profesdionelles sowie sehr freundliches Service da kann ich mich angekommen erleben. Der Kauserhof ist ein Erlebnis wert"

"We were looking for a restaurant where we had lunch and landed in this restaurant without knowing what we would eat. From the outside it does not look like a restaurant, although it has a terrace. It is more like a shop that offers the opportunity to sit and eat something. Very few tables inside but very friendly atmosphere and waiters (many of them for such a small restaurant and business) are very friendly. My wife and I ordered a risotto and anger we shared. The rage was excellent. As a dessert, I strongly recommend ordering the pancakes... delicious!"
