"I am from and live in El Paso so I am not sure why my tagline is saying San Francisco. We went to Hatch to buy some chili and stopped by at this diner. I am handicapped and have trouble ambulating. I liked they had a gift store connected to the restaurant and in reality this is why we chose it shop and rest. I ordered a combo (chili relleno, enchilada, and taco) and my sister ordered chili relleno. Hands down the chili relleno they were fresh and not greasy. Plus I liked they were not smothered in sauce. You can order this way but we chose not to and I am glad. People were friendly and service was good. Just like mom's....normally when I leave Mexican restaurants, we look for ice cream to h...

The store with metal art, pottery etc. is open and deserves 4 stars. HOWEVER, THE DINER IS NO LONGER OPEN.

Great service and loved the food. I got the California burrito smothered in green chili and husband got Huevos Ranchos Christmas. Quick and delicious!

All our meals were very tasty! And homemade, even chips which were great! Wide variety of items to choose from. Kids had French toast that came with fresh fruit eggs and sausage/bacon. I had the flautas and both the shredded beef and chicken were made in house and SIL had chili rellenos that were light, fluffy and delish. Lots of curios and cute little shop inside, definitely going back

"Was traveling through this area with a family member who had heard that there was a The Place in Hatch for breakfast. Mind you, Hatch UT barely qualifies as a wide spot in the road . There was only one qualified candidate: Sevier Coffee. First and foremost, this is primarily a coffee shop. I think the coffee menu board had between 12 and 15 more? items. I like good coffee but have simple taste: I had an Americano black . The hot breakfast menu had 7 to 9 items 1 or 2 were vegetarian but not vegan . We both had the Bacon Breakfast Burrito . If you 're familiar, it was just a bit smaller than a Chipotle burrito. !!! Scrambled egg, fried diced potatoes, bacon not really that much my only criticism? in a flour tortilla, heated to slightly crispy around the edge, with a side of thick salsa. My relative couldn 't finish and took the remainder for later. We were so impressed, even though we had moved campsites, we went back the next day. I repeated my order, my relative switched to the Bacon something? Croissant . We also split an Almond Danish. Delish! Perfect flakyness [sp? While we didn 't ask, we are both convinced that someone there has attended a culinary school and specialized in baking/pastry. We both believe that both the croissant and the danish were made onsite and not purchased from a supplier. We have no evidence I wish they hadn 't been so busy or I 'd have asked. The first day we stopped, we both needed to make use of the facilities . There are 2. Both unisex. Accessed from outside, not the shop interior always a red flag for what 's behind the door. I have never, ever, been in an 'outside access only ' bathroom so clean! I complemented them on it! Minor issue turn on either the hot or cold tap for the sink and, water leaked from around the cold water handle. I didn 't even tell them, they may not know. Extremely minor. For a breakfast, some might find it a bit pricey. The Burrito was $10, the Croissant $9 the smaller of 2 coffee sizes"
