"When I tell you this food is so dang good it makes you wanna smack your mama that’s a complete understatement. This is my second time coming here and it’s the best food I’ve had in ages!!! Ya’ll go get you a plate or three heck use this place as your cheat day gym rats it’s worth it!!! The side dishes are just as good if not better than the mains! The food here is SMACKIN' GOOD! If you love country cookin' with flavor, you gotta eat here! It's the best food I've eaten ANYWHERE in Lexington, NC. Best bang for your buck, guaranteed! You'll be amazed at how good the food and service is. Do it! You'll be glad you did!

This place reminded me of a place from my young called Brown's Cafe in South Hill Virginia (country town). Very old school vibes . And I have not been to any soul food place with smothered turkey necks on the menu. Also the very best candied yams and pintos(seasoned with turkey necks) I've tasted . The nostalgia ?this is my Mama and Daddy kinda place !
