"I have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is really good. I am not sure if there is new wait staff there now but my last visit which was on Father's day (2023), was ok but nothing to rave about. There was this one particular waiter who borderline harrassed me about tipping the waitress, in which was already in progress. I paid the bill on my credit card and asked her to get change for a $20 bill so I could tip her. He was not aware and was kind of rude about it.I tipped her and left. La Nueva Victoria, please be aware that you are getting more popularity because of Social Media. Stop with the tip shenanigans and allow people to dine and pay you accordingly. Thanks"

I’m a live in the moment type of gal, so sorry no pics. My spouse and I had the boneless crackling chicken with yellow rice, general tso chicken with vegetable fried rice, chicken wings, a large butta drink, and a large tequila sunrise. The drinks are super strong and the food is delicious and fresh. It was pretty much empty upon our arrival (3pm on a Friday), but it was packed once we left. Definitely coming back to try more food options.

This spot is not a frills thrills restaurant. Ngl, it’s a little ghetto, BUT that’s actually the beauty of it. People from all backgrounds there for one thing, THE FOOD. Hands down gotta be the best Chinese food I’ve had in NYC.Waiter wasn’t too attentive, food was 10/10. Butter (comes with alcohol) 7/10. Ordered the general tso’s with Spanish rice, 10/10. Chicken was so crispy, not soggy how most places make it. Boyfriend got the shrimp broccoli with fried rice, 10/10.Overall, i feel like this is a spot you go to pre-game or grab a bite with friends and sit back to enjoy each others company.
