"Until 1931, Chuckanut Drive was part of the Pacific Highway used by people driving from California to Vancouver. There is a much faster road today but it doesn't offer glorious views like the old route. Nor does it have a fine restaurant overlooking Samish Bay oyster beds. Every time we're in this area, we make sure that we stop at the Oyster Bar for lunch. We love the food, wine, view and service. It never disappoints. Already looking forward to next time.

This place is about two hours drive for us but every time we have a chance I take the detour from I5. Food is delectable, view is amazing, the service top notch If you like seafood, you must try it!
