The restaurant is located in a beautifully renovated 17th century building. The interior is well done. The waitress was friendly and did her job. We had Tapas: pulpo, thuna in sesamecrust, batatas fritas with aioli, grilled marinated beef, pimientos del padron, meatballs in white wine sauce. Except for the meatballs everything tasted fantastic. Fresh ingredients and freshly prepared. The price is okay. We would definitely go there again. We have been dining at some lovely german restaurants for the last few days and thought, given we love Spain, let’s try a Spainish restaurant. Especially one that has such great reviews. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Our waiter apologised so often for the slow food service that we felt compelled to tip himout of pity. The paella we ordered was almost 2 hours in the preparation, was bland, used plain stale ingredients, we were appalled with the quality. We also had tapas, over priced and quality was also appalling. The place is gorgeous but I went there for the food not for the architecture. Let’s leave aside the fact that two waiters were unable to serve take orders, ask whether drinks are needed, bring what was ordered , bring the check, etc a rather small restaurant. We were the only guests at the restaurant when we arrived and we ordered tapas alioli, cheese , iberico ham, Canary potatoes, squid, chorizo and tenderloin and a salad prawn , fruit , guacamole.
