Dear Dennis, Lisa and staff, Thank you very much for my daughters bridal shower (Samantha) perfect. We leave early to add personal touches. Thank you Lisa for adding flowers in the room and attention to every detail. The staff was attentive from the beginning to the end. The food was amazing as well as the Moimosa Bar. Our guest mentioned how incredible the food was, and some mentioned that it was the best shower they were. Thanks again, Val

We had lunch here for the first time today and we loved it! Fresh pasta is hard to find. We enjoyed a **** Mary and Pear Martini... very good drinks! Our appetizers were the raw oysters and Arancini (fried filled rice ball)...complete! For the Entrees we had Cannelloni and fetters Bolognese... love the freshly made pasta in both. Just want the portion size to be slightly larger, so we would have left behind. We also shared a house made tiramisu dessert, that was amazing! Great service. We have to go to dinner again. "I was looking forward to trying Mirabelle again after a bad experience we had when they were at their old location years ago. I had friends from out of town in and we were looking for an historical venue to go along with a local revolutionary war event in Setauket and The Three Village Inn fit the bill. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed overall with our experience. The waiter was terrific, no problem there. We asked for the Tavern portion of the restaurant, hoping for that old Colonial Tavern feel, which it partially delivered. It was mostly modern, not a bad thing, but not completely what we had in mind. We had some tasty appetizers. A Charcuterie Board that was good and a Butter Board that was also tasty. The crusty bread they served with it was delicious. We also had the raw oysters; small but good. Had we stopped there for drinks and apps, it might have been a good meal, but we all continued on with our entrees and that where things turned out to be disappointing. Part of the problem is the regular menu is not very interesting and for some reason they had no “Farm to Table” specials on this particular Saturday night. I had the Milanese style Pork Chop with a salad topping, that was tasteless. My wife and one of our friends had the signature Duck. For a French Restaurant we were expecting something delicious. Again, it lacked any kind of flavor other than the chutney that was served with it. It had no sauce, Au Jus, or crispy skin. All in call not, worth ordering again. My friends had the chicken which looked a little better, but no one was raving about it. I don’t know what the rest of the limited menu is like, but nothing else sounded really good. I have heard that the Tavern Burger is good, but for the price, I can get a good burger anywhere. Suffice it to say, this experience is not going to make us run back there any time soon."

"Antike Ginger has the BEST pig dumplings on the island. These dumplings have the most incredible taste you could ask in a dumpling. Apart from the taste, the authenticity of these dumplings is unsurpassed. When someone who had dumplings from many Chinese food places, I really believe that every dumpling is made from the old Ginger with the greatest championship. The packaging is not the thick, flour mass you get like most places around here; it is thin, light and wears the taste of filling beautiful. My friends and family agree. There were numerous occasions where I only ordered dumplings for family and friends and they were totally blown away. The price is also RECHT! You can order for $6.50 and it is 100% worth it! Antique ginger dumplings should not take away how delicious their food is. My family asks to order at least once a week. It's just really good Chinese food. I'm not even a joke, I don't write reviews, but I really believe that this place deserves it after all the nights that it came into coupling for me, my family or best friends. The staff is so polite and the service is beautiful. Ancient Ginger ALWAYS will be at the top of all the Chinese food sites I have tried on the island over the last twenty years. I challenged friends to find a place on LI with better knödeln and I challenge you now. If you are on the fence about the order from here today / sight, do not read further and call now. You won't regret it!"
