"I called to make reservations for a friend's birthday dinner on Saturday night. The person on the line was great and also said they would give us a dessert on the house for my friends birthday. We arrived on time and waited a few minutes at the bar until we sat. We ordered the thick sizzling bacon, steak for 3, lamb chops, onion rings, holy cow hot fudge sunflower, and carrot cake to share. The dazzling bacon and lamb dogs were the stars of the show. We ordered our Steak medium rarely, but more on the rare side. We got a steak that medium/medium was well done with some parts. Come for lunch, they always have availability during these hours. This place is probably the better one compared to Brooklyn, they are more beautiful with better service, so I have heard. Our server was very nice. But personally I liked everything, but the steak was in the middle. Burger 10/10 Lamb chops 10/10 Speck 10/10 Caesar salad 10/10 mousse cake 10/10 steak for four 7/10 Once had more spiced steak, and smoked steak, you will not find this steak, which is great. It's okay, just a simple, expensive steak. I'd try other steak houses next time in town.

I don't write this review to tell you what to do with your hard-earned money. I will share my thoughts and you decide whether you want to try this place or not. Peter Luger is one of the best if not the best steak houses in NYC. Steak is always cooked for perfection, and it is juicy and tasty. I love Peter Luger Burger. Also one of the best burgers in the city. The patty is so delicate that it melts in the mouth. The burger is so good that it is served only with raw onions and really needs nothing else. I came to lunch with my friend. The place was quite empty so we could go in without reservation. The interior feels very traditional and old American. It is quite quiet inside and the waiters are dressed in suits. We ordered the steak for two with one side of bacon and framed spinach. They are served with butter after ordering. The breads were moderate and the butter was your standard wrapped single butter you could find at a diner.
