"I live in Tillamook and have always drove by this place but have never been able to stop. We decided to drive up and I am so so happy we did. The tofu scramble isn’t like your typical breakfast tofu scramble. It was absolutely delicious! The potatoes on the side, if you choose them, are vegan and also really tasty. The food came out fast, the service was excellent, and the portions were plentiful. Also, it’s a rainy day and we sat under the outside covered area and it is so freaking cute. There are three heaters to keep you warm and we had no issues with staying warm. Tons of uncovered outside seating for warmer sunny days. This will be my go to place and the 35 minute drive is worth it, in my opinion."

"Their posted hours of operation on the day my family and I showed up was until 6 pm. We got there at 5:07 and were looking over the menu. When we approached the window, the employee told us they were closed when they were clearly not done in the cooking area (orders were being prepared). We weren 't given any explanation as to why they were closed, we could only gather that maybe they had a bunch of orders to get done before 6? We weren 't sure. Can 't rate the food, since we didn 't get to eat here, and they didn 't offer any sort of reason why we couldn 't be served. Maybe next time we 're on the coast... Owner has since replied, saying have a heart! and people like you harass them all day! We weren 't given an opportunity to enjoy your place, much less harass your staff! My family and I were tired and hungry from travel, and were excited to get a little bit of local fare. We wouldn 't have wasted our time coming to your place of business if you had posted something more appropriate for your Hours of Operation. May I suggest: 'OPEN When we get there. CLOSED when we 've had enough for the day ' Edited my rating down to a 1 star."

"Nice location and view on the back dock. Dog friendly outside! You order food at the front and you?ll seat yourself where ever there is a table available. You are asked to clear your own table as well (fair with staffing these days! It was a 30 minutewait to get in and then it was an 1.5 hour wait before we got our food. The dish I picked wasn?t my forte, but the pizza I sawcome out to others looked and smelled good. There was only 3 regular servers that I saw, so I?m sure they were very crunched forstaff. Lucky for us it was a nice day and able to enjoy being outside. This was my experience and my first time here. I can?tsay if it?s like this regularly."

"Excellent roadside find, eat here. Quite possibly the best halibut sandwich avocado/crab salad I’ve ever had! Both of our teenage children were satisfied a couple of excellent gluten-free options for my wife. We learned from our super friendly efficient server that the owner is from Mexico and includes avocado in as many dishes as possible! As noted on the sign onfront of the place, “The Bunkhouse Restaurant’s views are not represented by the flags.” When you pull up to eat here see the flags, you’ll understand why their sign is posted."
