"When I arrived to the location at my scheduled time there was a note posted on the door stating they were closed until a later date due to unforeseen circumstances. It would have been great to not have made a forty mile trip to arrive to a destination that was close. Someone dropped the ball on that and cost people time, and had ... I'm sure we're not the inky couple that had Open Table reservations during those days they were closed for business. Just bad business."

Delicious food, great wine, and awesome service. It was a perfect place for a family birthday dinner, complete with complimentary mini cake and sparkler candle!

A party going on interfered with kitchen time and service on floor. Slow service. Reservation for table , shown to booth at first. Small service errors and long kitchen wait marred a usually great experience.

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
