"We have been coming back to Crans Montana every year for 16 years we know what restaurants are available in the area, but for some reason had never tried Le Farinet, so decided to give it a go and had high hopes given the good reviews. However, we had a very poor experience. The service was extremely slow, it took 20 minutes just to bring us menus (and we had a reservation). I then ordered a dish with the primary ingredient being seitan and when the food arrived, quickly realized the seitan was missing. I notified the waiter and he said oh, I’ll ask the chef and brought the food back to the kitchen after which it took 20 minutes for the dish to come back to me with its intended primary ingr...

Strongly not recommended, the service came to tell us that we will have to wait 15 minutes before receiving our dish: as a result an hour later we were still paying attention. When they arrived they had not prepared the right dish and everything was cold. When you pay 45. for a meat dish you expect a minimum of respect towards customers…

Very good pasta and friendly service! Small downside: On my dish (pasta with shellfish ragout sauce the quantity was a little low and lacked sauce, but it was very good! My partner's dish (pasta with eggplant, etc. was delicious. Very good quality bread as an accompaniment! We will come back to try other dishes, especially those cooked in the parmesan wheel.
