"This was a great place to grab a late lunch. I told my wife that we’ll start taking a Saturday or Sunday and try different restaurants in OK. We chose the Rock Cafe as our destination. It was an hour drive from Oklahoma City and upon arrival we parked but couldn’t really locate the entrance. Once we did we were greeted and seated immediately. There were several open tables and it appeared that we may have missed the lunch crowd. A delightful server (Alyssa no clue if we spelled her name right) guided us through the menu and made great suggestions. She checked on us periodically and at one point in time provided history regarding the restaurant. Very informative! We decided on Fried Pickles...

Reuben sandwich was delicious. Just too bad the restaurant was so cold that the food didn't stay warm for a while. Cute little place definitely worth going to once

Really well run and popular cafe. Good range of food that we found to be delicious, and also a connected gift shop with a good selection of Route 66 Oklahoma souvenirs available. The waiting staff were friendly and interested and did not wait to be asked for refills, for example.

We came on a Thursday evening around 5pm. It wasn't busy at all. The food was out of this world. My cheeseburger was huge and my friend's bacon cheeseburger was even bigger, with melty cheese rolling off the edges and caramelized bacon bits. We also recommend the cowboy candy appetizer. The service was punctual, friendly, and accurate. The atmosphere has fun Route 66 vibes. Even though it was rebuilt from the 1939 original, it's still clean and laid back with good people good food.
