"This was the quintessential 50s Diner experience! We went into the door and are immediately transported to an earlier time. The counter stools and red vinyl stands were so funny and nostalgic. We went here on a Sunday morning, when all the towns were closed and we were not disappointed! This place ran like a well-oiled machine! We always stop here when we are in the area, usually for breakfast. The French toast is great and at home. My daughter loves the big chocolate chip pancake. Great coffee. You started accepting credit cards (not AMEX).

The place looks old and outdated on the outside but the food is DELICIOUS! We decided to go there because we didn't want the traditional chain restaurants we can get at home. The food was fast and hot!! So hot I had to wait to eat it. First day we had Lunch/Dinner. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger and he had the turkey dinner. Both were so good. We went back on our last day to get breakfast. Again Hot and Fresh! We both had 2 eggs, home fries, and bacon/Scrapple. The people there are very friendly!

Let me just say that it is always a pleasure to sit in an old fashion dinner. In the night it even has a little isolated feeling because you can hear nothing outside and the glass is slightly tinted. The girls were nice. I sat fast and the service was great. It was calm, the music was not too loud, and the atmosphere was soothing. Once I could enjoy a meal without the noise of most of your modern restaurants. The menu was simple, and there is no alcohol. It's as traditional as they come. Nostalgie best. I definitely recommend!
