"San Marcos could be very good, but they skimp on the ingredients. The flavor and seasoning of the Carne en su Jugo was very good, but the beef was stringy and chewy. The mole sauce on the Burrito San Marcos was delicious, but the chicken was dry and tough. The Churro ice cream was good, but the shell it was in was so hard that we really struggled to cut it with the spoons (it took two spoons) that they gave us and it ended up being a soupy mess. We ordered a 16 oz. drink that looked like it was 8 oz. We complained and the waiter insisted it was 16 oz. Service was also a somewhat slow considering that the restaurant was over half empty. Too bad. Lovely decour, but we will not be returning."

We sat right away and our server met on our table. I am a sticker for hot food and everything was fresh and hot and delicious. Definitely a good place to go for a pleasant dinner.

I got an MSG overdose from this place. Wow! Why do you put MSG in Mexican food??? I am very sensitive to MSG, so would be more likely to have a reaction, but even my husband, who is not, wasn 't feeling great after the meal. My reaction to MSG... Extreme sleepiness, and in this case, I could not keep my eyes open at 730 PM, very tight jaw, headachy, naseous and really out of it for 2 hours. The rest of my evening was ruined and the next day i had an MSG hangover, out of it, headachy and naseous all day. I haven 't had a reaction like this in ages, the meal had to be heavily dosed MSG in the seasonings. Beware if you have any sensitivity at all to MSG. I will NEVER eat here again.
