We all come from Boston, a place where some of the best Italian food in this country can be found, so I tend to be picky when it comes to Italian restaurants. This place, this Spirito's, is amazing. The service was good and the food was tasty. This is not a quick in and out so expect to spend some family time. The Alfredo could have used more cheese but was good. Also this was a bit pricey so expect to spend your loot.

This restaurant is located at Federal Hill inside a beautiful Victorian home. They served Italian bread and butter to start. I then got the chicken escarole soup instead of salad. They both were okay, but nothing special about it. Plus the soup was not hot; in all fairness to the restaurant, we were on a bus trip and they were serving 50 of us. I had the stuffed sole which was delicious. The stuffing was tasty and filling. It was a crab meat stuffing. The roasted potatoes was also very good. I had the Tiramisu for desserts and it was also very good. It was very creamy.

I think this place is pretty underrated. We get take out from here quite often recently had a large ordered catered for my sister's birthday. Not only do I never have any issues here but they always get it right! Every time I order take out from other restaurant's they constantly make mistakes- but not this place. The staff and employees are knowledgeable, kind and on top of it. Not to mention the food is AMAZING. The chicken parmigiana is excellent! Chicken franchise is a close second. The sauce is great! The portions are HUGE you can't beat the prices!!! One of my favorite places to order take out!
