"We returned to The Commodore after having written a negative review of them on Yelp. The manager contacted me and wanted us to give them another try so he sent us a $100 gift card. Our last review was mostly positive about the food, it was the service that had been a problem. Last Friday, March 13th, we went back to give the restaurant another try. As far as we know, they didn't know that we had complained in the past and were going to use the gift card from them. This time, our server, Jossette, was very friendly, prompt and helpful. The bistro steak was tender and very flavorful. The beets sidedish with blue cheese and pepitos was wonderful. Service and ambience were great. Will be back. Anxious to try the new pot pies.
