"Get ready for a great meal! We had noticed Toscana during a previous visit to Ebenezer's across the street and marked it as a 'maybe' for the future. When we returned to the area, we checked out the menu but were still unsure, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service. The starters were delicious, and the main dishes came in generous portions—not quite family-sized, but if you don't have a big appetite, consider sharing. Otherwise, you'll likely have leftovers to take home. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were packed with flavor, and the house-made sangria was fantastic. While I couldn't eat here every night, I plan to stop by the nex...

One of the finest Italian cafe I have visited. Sitting outside feels like sitting in Italy at a cafe. The staff is courteous and helpful. Now the food is just amazing and mouth watering delicious. The chef does a great job with each and every dish. A must go to place if you are near union station or visiting the mall.

I just wanted to say what a great experience we had at Toscana Cafe earlier this week. We had a group of 17 and from start to finish we couldn't have asked for better treatment. The staff checked in with us the day before, we were given our choice of seating areas, the service was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. We'll definitely be dining there again! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

I really enjoyed the dinner at Toscana. We made reservations for outside but it was raining so we decided to sit upstairs. The server was friendly and explained the options well. We had happy hour sangría and while strong it was still good. The pasta dishes were hot and satisfying. The place doesn't seem like a 5 star restaurant but that's not what they are going for. The neighborhood feel is a welcome respite from the less colorful establishments that are popular in DC.

"incredibly disappointed! first we have this restaurant for a birthday dinner on other options based on their menu, but once we were there, the menu was not what they have on their website. specific entrees that drag us to aragosta were not at all in the menu. I know the website state menu items can change, they will react with the nationwide lack of products it is difficult to get deliveries, but seriously if their printed menus are up to date their online menu should also be because guess what? there is no printing involved! the height of the wee that was available, again, weeping on the online menu were not on the printed weeping list, mediocre was best still the brandup was extreme. Thirdly, the time we waited for our food was unacceptable and when it arrived, it was cooked cold. the cabernet sauce with the chateabriand tasted no different than a glass shop bought brown engraving the duck, ordered medium rare, but served almost medium-heavy cold. the filet mignon was boiled on request, but hardly warm the Bernaise sauce tasted just like the packed powder mixture that it received in food business. nothing special or unique. next missing the service. our server apologised for the time it needed to get our wein later our meal times, and said that one of their server had to leave unexpectedly due to disease, but there were other support so that our water should have been refilled several times, but we had to ask for fillings they would help supply food before it became cold. all dinge considered the price we paid over $200 was not worth what we have the over 4 star rating is unnoticed. because we were not the only two in our party, we decided not to express our disappointment complaint at that time."
