"In Portland from out of town to visit family, saw Trattoria Gallo Nero with many good reviews. They comfortably accommodated 17 of us for a great family lunch. Great service, great food (the Carbonara Tartufo was the hit), nice little bar, just great all around. Certainly recommended."

the food was so delicious, drinks were spectacular (although small for the price) and the staff so friendly and helpful. I recommend the strozzapreti with prosciutto! such a rich taste!

Veramente buono! Had dinner with my family and enjoyed every thing we had on the table: crostini with tomatoes, with liver pate', penne with tomato sauce, swordfish, braised wild boar, gelato and tiramisu! Felt like at home in Tuscany.
