"My wife and I did the tourist thing and went here while I visited Boston. It was relatively empty when we came to lunch, so the service was quite fast. Our server was very nice and friendly, they gave recommendations what we should order. They brought us to start corn bread, it was super soft and damp. It wasn't too sweet what I liked. We got the Clam-Chowder to start, and I got the lobster Mac and cheese for my duck. My wife has the lobster ravioli. Overall the meal was quite good, but for us the decor on the wall was the coolest part of the meal. Definitely a cool place to see while in Boston, but definitely more for tourists I think."

Dinner at this busy place. We had a food allergy in the group so that not try all seafood options. But the shells were really good. Half a dozen oysters are probably not enough, but they get pretty fast expensive. Enjoy the entire historical environment.

The oysters were good, had better. Lobster ravioli was not worth the $33 for 8. Can hardly taste when it is covered with cream sauce, which is a waste of money. The service was attentive. You're eating here for history and other people. Would not repeat for food, only old mood that is cool.

I know this place has been there for a while, but man was just amazing from food to service. Everything was top notch. The lobster we got was amazing. We have Clam Chowder to taste the table. Our waitress was the life of the party not only with our table, but you could just say how their energy was amazing on other tables every night. The food was super filling and the set-up is very nice. I know her kitchen is closed upstairs and it's a shame that her menu has shrunk since Kovid, but she? I'm crazy! This is a must if you? re in Boston now add it to your list!
