"Very odd little restaurant. Its cozy up front, but the back 'room ' was white table cloths on glorified patio furniture. It felt strange to eat there as a non-regular. The staff were all nice, but the service was not terribly fast. On the other hand, the food far surpassed my expectations! It felt very homemade and authentic in all the best ways. All in all, I 'm more sure it would be my first recommendation, but I enjoyed it."

Great food, Greater staff, lots of local regular costumer. Over all warm friendly environment. I all ways feel at home here. If you are in the area, you have to stop in.

I don't know how Aperture stacks up against other Brooklyn Italian restaurants, but we found the service and food to be excellent. Obviously people eat late in Brooklyn because it was deserted at 6:30pm. The pizza is fantastic. Thin and fresh tasting, crazy good sauce. The calamari is also quite good.
