"“Ma” Austin founded this rest stop/restaurant in the early 1900’s during the heyday of the railroad logging years. She served trout, venison, and delicious pies. The current owners are equally gracious although the menu has changed. Anyone who travels Hwy 26 through here should definitely make this rest stop. The huckleberry ice cream floats are fantastic!"

We love country stores like this! They are disappearing from the rural landscape. The owner was delightful. We didn't eat in the Cafe…but will do so next time we're in the area. I encourage you to stop in if you are near!!!
