"We came to dinner and that was decent. I expected a little better, but it was okay and pretty expensive. The loud Gangsta Rap music from the kitchen killed the ambience. Our table was wobbly, but we just fixed it fast. Service was kind of poor. Our server only brought out one of the three appetizers we ordered before our meal. The other two were brought with the meal. We drank hot tea and had to ask for hot water and other drinks were not refilled without our request. The mozzarella was not the best and tasted like a commercial brand and they drowned it in balsamika and the tomatoes were too soft, bland and tasteless. Maybe it was just a free day, but I'm not sure I'd eat here again."

Our son brought us here. It was a great experience in a classic location. The food was delicious. I had the braided ribs. They were delicious. I want to come back for other choices. Great service. The food wasn't long. Love the bread. Willard's back. Very recommended.

A historic building with two floors of seating, exposed bricks and a live jazz trio, Caffé Molise offers an excellent ambience for a cozy culinary experience. The food was well prepared, the portions were considerable, and the staff was helpful and responsive. Overall, a solid A class would recommend. The chocolate hazelnut mousse was incredibly delicious!

This is officially my new favorite Italian restaurant. The building is clean and well maintained, and the service is excellent. Our server was always filled up to our water and he was energetic! Our appetizer only took about 2 minutes to get to our table, and the food only took about 10. Service is extremely fast, and the food is incredibly good! Every bite has a rich taste and everything is excellent. Desserts was also incredibly delicious. Amazing quality especially for the price. Let's go! 10/10

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
