"The quality of our meals (4) did not get close to the level we have had at Canal Bistro in the past. The moussaka had chunks of barely cooked eggplant. Neither diner finished theirs. The lamb shank was good but not great. The person who got a gyro platter took most of it home. And lastly, the garlic and feta fries had barely any garlic and were overloaded with feta. I hope this one night was just an off night and not what it has become."

Service was slow waited a long time for drink, meat was dry, tabouli was different

Really enjoyed the food, lamb kebab and salad were great. Unfortunately the service ruined the overall experience. Was provided water and bread shortly after being seated, then didn’t see our waiter again for over 20 minutes. Ordered drinks and food when they did stop by again. Salads were delivered, but no still drinks. A long night of waiting on our server continued. I would recommend ordering carry out.
