"Food was delicious as always. Grandson tried steak for the first time. Loved it. The chicken dumplings are a must for every visit, even if it's just as a side. Service is always fast. You never get tired of looking at the historic items on the walls. Don't get me started in the shopping! I buy at least 1 or 2 Christmas presents there every year. Old school vintage childhood candy memory items next to new fantasy snow globes or albums or Tshirts Candles and so much more. Plan on an hour for your meal and another hour shopping. If you like down home country, neat and clean, you'll love this place."

Cracker Barrel was everything I wanted in a restaurant but never got until I went to Cracker Barrel. The food was so amazing and gourmet like something i’ve never had before. Home Style meals, very tasty, generous portions and good service. Our meals were served very quickly, at least as fast as some FAST FOOD places these days. I had two medium-sized chicken breast, hashbrown caserole, steamed broccoli served with corn cake and sweet tea. My wife got grilled chicken benches, baked apples, steamed carrots with cookies and coke. They saw desserts and sounded great, but our meals were so great that none of us had room for dessert.
