"This is the best Ethiopian food I've had in the US. For reference I have eaten Ethiopian food in Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, St. Louis, Sioux Falls, DC (another restaurant), LA, and Seattle. This is the closest I've had to the Ethiopian food I ate in Ethiopia. It makes me feel like someone dropped me off in Debark or Axum. Really makes me remember my time in Ethiopia fondly. No wonder this place is called habesha. Prices are more reasonable and you can customize your beyaynetu easily which is rare at most Ethiopian places. Can't recommend enough!Vegetarian options: Ethiopian is fantastic for veggie and vegan options and authentic injera is gluten free. In the US some places use gluten based...

Best Ethiopian food in DC/ the US. Sublime! If you're an adventurous eater like me get the special kitfo, otherwise the Millenium Tibs are the best tibs I have ever had. Out of this world! Not to be missed. This place is also an Ethiopian grocery store, so a great spot for cooks as well.

Delicious! I ordered Uber Eats from here and food was tasty and fresh, even after traveling across town. While it was a bit pricey through Uber Eats, you get a TON of food that keeps well for next day leftovers. I ordered the Special Veggie Combo (6 options) for a large lunch/dinner for myself and there was enough food for leftover lunch the next day. If you get the food yourself (not delivery) the value is unbeatable. The only slight drawback is the kik alicha (yellow split peas) was very very mild and could use additional/stronger spices.Vegetarian options: Extensive vegetarian options

This is a wonderful restaurant and small but well stocked Ethiopian market. I am a huge fan of their vegetarian/vegan sampler platter. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options available without needing to make special requests/alter the preparation which is great for those with dietary restrictions. In addition, they have gluten free injera for takeaway and with your meal. This isn’t a restaurant to go to for the IG aesthetic but the inside is spacious and clean. I usually order take out at the counter and hang out while it’s made. I enjoy perusing the Ethiopian grocery section during this time. Everyone at the store is friendly, and the food is ready quickly. The portions are generous...

"incredibly disappointed! first we have this restaurant for a birthday dinner on other options based on their menu, but once we were there, the menu was not what they have on their website. specific entrees that drag us to aragosta were not at all in the menu. I know the website state menu items can change, they will react with the nationwide lack of products it is difficult to get deliveries, but seriously if their printed menus are up to date their online menu should also be because guess what? there is no printing involved! the height of the wee that was available, again, weeping on the online menu were not on the printed weeping list, mediocre was best still the brandup was extreme. Thirdly, the time we waited for our food was unacceptable and when it arrived, it was cooked cold. the cabernet sauce with the chateabriand tasted no different than a glass shop bought brown engraving the duck, ordered medium rare, but served almost medium-heavy cold. the filet mignon was boiled on request, but hardly warm the Bernaise sauce tasted just like the packed powder mixture that it received in food business. nothing special or unique. next missing the service. our server apologised for the time it needed to get our wein later our meal times, and said that one of their server had to leave unexpectedly due to disease, but there were other support so that our water should have been refilled several times, but we had to ask for fillings they would help supply food before it became cold. all dinge considered the price we paid over $200 was not worth what we have the over 4 star rating is unnoticed. because we were not the only two in our party, we decided not to express our disappointment complaint at that time."
