"Whatever you imagine for comfort food think that... Probably better! Where should you start? I'm pretty sure I could write a little short story about the fried chicken alone. The juxtaposition of the perfectly crisp skin meet the juicy white meat chicken was a really rare treat for roasted chicken... Most attempts at fried chicken end soggy and full fat these days that it is barely edible when it reaches the table. And that was just the chicken. Two words... BRISKET REUBEN. Genius. Well done and perfectly portioned. And the frits are thick and have this crunchy dough structure on the outside. My darling. The woman liked the salad. Children loved the Fritten and Mac Cheese. Fresh lemonade was great. Friendly service. Clean tables. The prices were good. I'd go to dinner.

When I saw the reviews of this place I thought to myself, They must be so high because it 's the only restaurant in town. I was hungry and intrigued so we stopped. The food quality and freshness of ingredients is amazing. The food is made from scratch. When you go, don 't skimp out on their homemade pies. Your tummy will thank me! I attached a pic of their delicious coconut cream pie. It was like heaven in my mouth!

We spent the night in Menard en route to the Davis Mountains and found ourselves at Lazy Ladle for breakfast. Our family of 5 ordered so much food not know the portions would be so big! Sufficient to say the food was delicious and very well divided. Some of the best cookies and Gravy this page of the Mississippi. Beautiful waitress and many coffee refills : I just wish her outside sign reflects the warmth and goodness of the restaurant. We're coming back!
