"A very genuine French bistro indeed. Tucked away in an alley next to a rustic group of low rise apartment buildings. Tables inside are very unstated but the quaint outdoor seatings among young redwood trees and string lights are absolutely adorable. Every dish is served piping hot. Price is reasonable whether you do Ala cart or prix fix. And the desert platter is worth special mentioning: one order and you get a mini cream brûlée, a mini layered cake, seasonal fruit mix, mini apple tart and a chocolate truffle. Yes, going back there again soon."

Loved the lobster bisque, veal chop, and the leaks salad. Didn't care for the mushroom pate . Loved the pommes frites as they are very memorable and they were complimentary! Owner is very friendly and nice.

As always, the food is amazing! This has become my favorite restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Price is slightly higher than last year.. $80 for 4 course vs last year, $70 for 5 courses. But it's definitely worth it!

Great meal at Le Bistro the other night! My favorite was the gnocchi with morel and truffle cream sauce. Service was good and the atmosphere was quiet; perfect for a romantic date night. I'd say the prix fixe menu was a good value for the quality of the food, but wine prices were quite high.
