"this restaurant came recommended by a few of my coworkers ! I pass this restaurant on my way home from work and thought it looked very charming. our table was directly across from the hostess stand there were four of us one of our 3 tables was extremely uneven , and wobbled so badly that we couldn 't put our dirty cocktail glasses or bread basket on it for fear they would fall off. The waiter asked to take our orders w/o asking if we wanted any starters we had to ask him it that was ok....he said , yea whatever you want to do there were only a handful of people in the restaurant on Sauturday evening so it wasn 't as though he was crushed w/ customers. our meal was ok at best. The server was dropping everything. It seems she was uncomfortable serving us. She was chatting with other people but was not pleasant to us. The food was cold and untasteful.

One small concern--when we arrived for lunch the restaurant was essentially empty. Half an hour later a group of 12 was seated next to us in an empty restaurant--they were having a loud/celebratory meal, which made it hard to hear. We should not have been seated so close physically to where a large group would be seated! Their noise was disruptive (we did not complain--but the restaurant should anticipate this with respect to a large group (and especially when empty).
