"Do not go here!! I only gave it one star because I had to. There was no barbecue smell when I walked in, which was the first red flag. I usually don't leave reviews but I couldn't let anyone else experience this. It was a complete waste of money. I don't know how this place stays open. They drowned everything in barbecue sauce for flavor, but it was still terrible. The ribs had no smoke flavor, the brisket was shredded, and the sausage was just average. I would rather go hungry than eat here. I threw $27 in the trash."

This restaurant is very dirty. Lunch for two people cost $50. The brisket was thin and lacked flavor. The pork was also thin and fatty. The only good thing about this place was the coke. The potato salad was mushy. Be careful! Don't waste your money or time here.

The grill and seafood at this restaurant are delicious. They have the best baby back ribs in the city and their pulled pork sandwich is amazing. Don't miss out on the cornbread pancakes and the beautiful potato salad. The only downside is the slower service and the slightly unclean area, but the food is simply fantastic.

We had a great experience at Mr. Powdrell's on 4th Street for their famous barbecue. The restaurant is cozy and old-fashioned, located in an old house with rustic tables and chairs. I tried the grilled pork sandwich with okra and cole slaw, and it was delicious. My friends also enjoyed their meals, some ordering the same as me while others tried the grilled sausages with sides of potato salad, cole slaw, and okra. We all agree that Mr. Powdrell's barbecue is the best in Albuquerque and highly recommend it!
