"This is one of my favorite spots in DC. Their yams, plantains, mac and cheese, “chicken”, and veggies are all amazing so are the sandwiches, and the little cakes and pasta salads in their fridge are convenient if you’re just stopping by quickly. The grocery store next door is also a nice place to check out. It takes around 15 20 mins for them to prepare your order, and you can take it home or eat at one of the few tables there (there’s usually space). Don’t forget to get extra hot sauce!"

I spent 30 minutes to find out what the crab cakes and sweet potatoes were made; phenomenal. Everything I ate was extraordinary.

The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. It 's a small place and it 's attached to a health food store! The jerk chicken is to die for!

I loved the location and the brunch menu. Everything here is vegan, including the omelet. The potatoes tasted very good. The next time I am in this part of D.C., I come back for the next time to review this part of D.C. Updated by previous review on 2022-10-09

"incredibly disappointed! first we have this restaurant for a birthday dinner on other options based on their menu, but once we were there, the menu was not what they have on their website. specific entrees that drag us to aragosta were not at all in the menu. I know the website state menu items can change, they will react with the nationwide lack of products it is difficult to get deliveries, but seriously if their printed menus are up to date their online menu should also be because guess what? there is no printing involved! the height of the wee that was available, again, weeping on the online menu were not on the printed weeping list, mediocre was best still the brandup was extreme. Thirdly, the time we waited for our food was unacceptable and when it arrived, it was cooked cold. the cabernet sauce with the chateabriand tasted no different than a glass shop bought brown engraving the duck, ordered medium rare, but served almost medium-heavy cold. the filet mignon was boiled on request, but hardly warm the Bernaise sauce tasted just like the packed powder mixture that it received in food business. nothing special or unique. next missing the service. our server apologised for the time it needed to get our wein later our meal times, and said that one of their server had to leave unexpectedly due to disease, but there were other support so that our water should have been refilled several times, but we had to ask for fillings they would help supply food before it became cold. all dinge considered the price we paid over $200 was not worth what we have the over 4 star rating is unnoticed. because we were not the only two in our party, we decided not to express our disappointment complaint at that time."
