"I'm often here. I live very close to it so it's comfortable. I loved it here. This is the third time I came myself. If I'm with other people, the service is fine. It seems that a person is not what they are looking for, although I have been in every part of the industry for years) My waitress came 25 minutes to come as soon as I ordered, she never came back. I tried to get her attention to let her know that the dressing was warm and also very bitter. I had to ask the hostess. I order Sushi and Thai. I finally got my Thai court and never got the sushi. At the end of my meal, she said my sushi was right outside. I've been done. Cold dishes and appetizers should be served first. Not at the end...

Nice furnishings. Very clean on the inside with friendly staff. We had a very pleasant meal. Your Tom Ka soup was so good, I'm probably going back for it today!

I really like this restaurant. Very good sushi and service. We got in the authentic cabin where you sit on the floor and we had a great time. My son really enjoyed it too. The menu is huge and many options to choose from. Sushi or entrees of steak chicken or fish. You also have some Thai offers like Pad Thai. Will be back

I was here a few times. Love it. My husband and I both had the Chicken Teriyaki together with Miso Soup and Wonton Soup. My darling! There was fried Gyoza delish. Oh and there F.B.I. (fried banana with chocolate ice cream! The atmosphere was great. Everyone was super nice, including our waitress. The Saki is a must! Thank you. You all make it a pleasure.

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
