"My son and I made reservations in Tavern as the menu looked wonderful and I liked this place since its opening. But showed up, Hostess was confusedly sent us up (which was good and where we wanted to sit). After about 5 minutes standing, the server comes to ask if you need something yes, our table. Went for Easter brunch and took out food forever. It wasn't so busy. When the food came, the ham was terrible. Hostess completely rude.

We had been looking forward to trying Tavern on the Point and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our meal. Both the almond crusted grouper and the sautéed whitefish were very fishy and mushy in texture. The rapini served with the whitefish was tough and very bitter. The almond crust on the grouper was too hard and the cream sauce served with the grouper was heavy and unappealing. They were understaffed Sunday evening so it took a fairly long time to receive our meals. We requested to sit on the rooftop when making the reservation on Open Table but were told there was a wait so chose the patio instead.
