"This place is the bomb! The service is quick and the people who run the place are some of the sweetest and hard-working group of people that I've met in a very long time. Mrs. Mary helped me carry my food to my car because I recently got stitched removed from my hand and couldn't carry the box. The food is delicious and hot every single time, The chicken and sausage gumbo is rich and full of meat, the potato salad is nice and creamy, and the white beans were just the rightamount of salty and peppery. The restaurant is clean and everyone was considerate and wore their masks around me. I'm very satisfied with this restaurant and will be back many more times."

I stopped by today to get Sunday dinner for my family and the food didn?t disappoint. Jambalaya was delish as well as the chicken and sausage gumbo. We also enjoyed the crawfish pie and boudin. The portions are generous and it satisfied a craving. Customer service was the epitome of southern hospitality. The next time we are in BR, we will definitely come back.

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
