"We love to take family and friends from the city here and also like to dine here for special occasions. We had family come from the state and made reservations to take them here on the past Father's Day. Unfortunately, our experience of this visit was unfavourable. Although we had 6 reservations, it took some time to take place, although most of the main kitchen was surprisingly empty. We're not sure why we didn't sit in this main area, we felt like they wanted to keep us away from it. Have been patronizing the Villa for over 40 years, but hadn't been back since moving out of the area a while back. Last week we we in the area and decided to have a nice Italian dinner at an old favorite place. Wow were we disappointed, the place turned into a dirty dump with horrible food. When I say dirty I mean, really dirty ! one health department inspection from being closed. all the leather seat booths we torn and original to the age of the building the men's room was scary dirty. I took a photo of our table under the tablecloth covered with moldy white duct tape that fairly represents the rest of the buildings condition.
