"The Italian restaurant La Verona is a fine dining corner of Kennett Square. This November they celebrate their 10th anniversary. They are located on Main Street and are a centre for live music, intimate meetings and authentic Italian cuisine inspired by northern Italy. We had a wonderful experience to feed there, and it was pleasantly mixed with our waiter Afrim. He was friendly and welcoming and gave excellent recommendations such as the roasted artichoke starter with cut prosciutto and truffle oil. This place threw me away! Everything was so good! The chicken Marsala was tasty and light. My Hubby got the octopus and it was fresh and not gummy. Good prices too! Come back!

The people in La Verona are very nice and the service was great. It's hard to choose what to eat as everything on the menu seems like a great option. I had half the Brat duck and my wife had the scallops. The scallops were buttery, rich and perfectly cooked. All that should be a good sailor. The duck was also delicious, not greasy as most ducks tend to be, but also not too dry.

I had the Calamari as an appetizer and the chicken parmesan as my entree. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend these dishes. My husband ordered the duck and was disappointed. He said the duck was good overall, but wished the skin was crispy and not soggy. A friend ordered the lasagna and didn't like it. I tried and didn't like it either. The service was great as the waiter was both our waiter and host; he was great, attentive and super-professional. I'd repeat it.
