"While passing through during lunchtime, I saw the positive reviews and fairly appealing photos for UMI sushi and decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, I walked past the sushi counter and saw tubs of pre-sliced sashimi carelessly stacked in mounds, and immediately felt a sense of regret. The fish was not the freshest but also not bad. The rolls without raw fish tasted pretty good. The nigiri had a lot of rice and the fish tasted slightly fishy. The wasabi provided looked very unnaturally green (think Hulk colored). I wouldn't eat at this place if they offered me free food for life. A lot has changed since my last review and there is no way on earth I'd ever eat here again. Terrible.

I been to Umi several times and decided to review. If you on a date, try to sit upstairs, very nice and intimate. You can't go wrong with any of the Chefs special sushi roll and I definitely like their teriyaki Rea snapper bento box. Drinks was just ok. Service just like any other sushi restaurant, fast, and not so personally.

I've been wanting to check this place out and I'm glad I finally found the time. I'm a sushi lover, but today they tempted me with a Teriyaki Bento Box (lunch size). Wow a little bit of everything yummy. I visited this location when it was a different restaurant, and they've done a nice job turning it into their own space. Great spot in OEC.
