"We were seated in the outdoor area that's enclosed. Not usually a problem but the heat was out. There was the fireplace and a tiny space heater right next to the fireplace, but the gaping holes around the edges of the covers that are used on the openings rendered both useless if you weren't sitting by the fire. We couldn't change tables to sit away from the openings, as someone had requested the one closer the fireplace and there was a larger party coming and using the other smaller table. (note- the part did not use the table. We were encouraged to use blankets they provided. We did stay. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive and gave us wonderful suggestions. This is my favorite place for lunch with my friend. We usually go one Wednesday month. We request the same table and waiter every time. We live in Floyds Knobs Indiana. The food and service is always great. Plus 1 2 price Wine on Wednesday is always a good value. Great atmosphere . I had my birthday dinner there last week.

"First let me say the atmosphere is amazing, although a little loud, but in an exciting sort of way, not in a can 't hear your conversation sort of way! Our server, Christian, was amazing! He is absolutely one of the best in the business! He was knowledgable about the menu, the history of the building, bourbon and wine and more! Now on to the food! The crab cake appetizer was the very best we had ever eaten! It was pure crab with just enough bread crumbs on the outside to hold it together! Just big hunks of crab! Yum! We had heard so many times that Repeal had the best steaks in the city so we had to check it out. I am sad to say we do not agree! My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side even though I ask for it to be medium well (a little pink). My husbands steak was under cooked even though he ask for medium well also. Yes, we could have sent them back, but unless something is inedible, we rarely do. We were just disappointed more than anything, steaks were still very edible and good, just not great! The $20 twice baked potato was not worth $20 even though it did have slices of truffle on top and truffle oil as an ingredient. The Caesar salad was a disappointment! The addition of white anchovies was different but did not elevate the salad in our opinion. The bread pudding was amazing! I highly recommend! Oh, the cocktails were subpar! I know this sounds like a total tear down of Repeal, but it is not! I think we had too high expectations and were just let down by our experience considering the price! So, with all that said, would I go back? Yes! I would but would chose very different menu items than this time. And I would probably skip cocktails and go for wine instead."

"Their customer care stinks. While the service and food (eventually) was good their treatment of customers isn't. After spilling the entrée on me, they acted as if that was my fault. The manager did not come to check on us until much later and when he did he had the idea the spill was my fault. No offer to comp desert and no real apology."

This place was EXACTLY what I was thinking of when I asked my friends to go to a place that embodied the whole bourbon tasting experience. Did not disappoint one bit! During my recent visit with my wife and friends, we were treated to a culinary delight. They guided us through the extensive bourbon selection and ensured our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The only thing holding back a perfect five star rating is the slightly smaller portion of the burger, which although delicious, left me wanting a bit more. "La Chasse is one of our favorites! The owner and staff are friendly and focused on their guests having a great experience. Last night, I had the salmon with mushroom risotto, and topped with crispy shallots. Delicious! My wife and I split orders of crab cake and also escargot. Blake, our bartender/server, helped to make our evening a really really enjoyable one! Every time we visit La Chasse we see other regulars , so you know the food, drinks, and atmosphere, are consistently A+."
