"Ordered the IT Sando and a turmeric latte after spending a weekend with non-vegan family where I literally only ate baby carrots, raw broccoli, and protein bars. I was effing ravenous for some real food. The IT Sando absolutely hit the spot. Perfect amount of sauce, great flavor, tasty toasted bread with little millet seeds interspersed throughout millet flour in gluten free bread adds fluff. Great texture. It was small (perhaps larger on glutinous bread, as thats usually the case) but hit the spot after feeling deprived for a couple days. I also ordered the turmeric latte which is stated as being made with Laird superfood turmeric and original creamer its a coconut-based creamer and maple syrup. I actually was so underwhelmed with the latte that I returned it. It just tasted like someone had put a dash of turmeric in sugar water. My partner and his brother had the aa super berry smoothies with strawberries instead of bananas (tragic banana allergy and they liked them but didnt think the 12 oz bevs were worth the $9 price tag. All in all, basing my experience on one sandwich, Id recommend this place. Next time in Bend Id like to go back and try their other offerings."

"Wow. I didn't think you could find a better sub than Plankers or Beach Hut, but this has to be up there for the best sandwich in Bend. Service is great. Love the music. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. A nice, full bar with a few beers on tap. The sandwiches are amazing, especially on the garlic bread. Even better with a side of the Jamaican red hot sauce, it goes great on everything. I've tried 3 different ones and would easily eat them all again. I can't wait to go back and try more sandwiches."

"Beyond agonizing and disappointing. I took a client with special needs in to try the smoothies as she really loves Jamba Juice. This being a healthier option seemed intuitive and I hoped it would be a positive experience for her. The staff were wretched. The gawking and treatment was disgusting. It was really heartbreaking and regrettable. Never, ever again."

"I'm shocked that this is the first HappyCow review for Bonta! Although you can buy their sorbetto at the grocery store, visiting the shop for a cone in the middle of summer is essential. I wish that they had more dairy-free options, but the coconut flavors are delicious with a good texture in particular. You can also try mixing in some of the Jem nut butter (available in the front) for some additional variety. The line can grow long during the summer, but service is relatively fast regardless and the staff are super friendly."

"The most beautiful food in Bend. Encourage and recommend tasting menu with wine pairings, it is incredibly thoughtful. Each course was phenomenal and the wines all perfectly paired. Also recommend starting the Carpaccio and the Hamachi cheese, oh and a filthy martini with blue cheese olives, best martini ever. We are often here and are almost always lucky to have Justin as our waiter and he is the BEST."
