"As a former restaurant manager and in business for many years, I am very picky where I eat and I am very attentive to the service and atmosphere at the meal. The Dutch family restaurant is what every place I have ever worked or managed to be after it. The service is friendly and prompt. The food is best to cook home with huge portions. All I've eaten is as fresh as I do without getting it out of the garden. Manager Ruthy is as pleasant as a person I've ever met and always makes the feeling that you've been friends for years and treated you like family. I can't say enough good things and can't think of something negative except they're only open on Thursday to Sunday. All at the Dutch Family...

Our favorite breakfast spot! Food is delicious. It does not break the bank. My go to is the 2 eggs, your choice of meat, your choice of bread OJ (freshly squeezed, they don’t put ice ; Customer service is top notch! We love this place.

Servers are super attentive in the best ways. I would say their food is like high end diner food that you'll probably crave once in a while. Husband loved the fried oyster sandwich, said it wasn't too heavy. I had red white and blue pancakes (instead of waffles) and had leftovers for days. I also ordered a side of home fries and macaroni salad for both of us to try, which were great. We bought more of the macaroni salad around the corner to bring home for later. Cranberry juice was typical, but husband said his hot chocolate probably wasn't worth the price even though they used mini marshmallows and whipped cream.
